This high-quality, highly soluble fertilizer contains a high concentration of boron and a moderate concentration of molybdenum. The fertilizer is formulated in an easily absorbable form and stimulates the dual activating role of boron and molybdenum, preventing the appearance of their deficiency symptoms. It improves calcium absorption and maximizes the utilization of other nutrient elements. It increases cell division, prevents the death of growing tips and damage to the cambium, and improves the movement of carbohydrates and sugars within the plant, accelerating their transport from the leaves to the roots—thereby increasing yield and sugar content, and improving the plant’s tolerance to biotic and environmental stress conditions.

Power Sugar is specially formulated for use on sugar beet, where it works to increase sugar content, clean up the foliage (canopy), and protect against hollow heart and physiological disorders, while increasing yield and quality.

The sugar beet crop is highly demanding of boron, and a deficiency of this element leads to the appearance of black heart rot disease. The addition of boron also increases sugar content, as it contributes to accelerating the transport of sucrose to the roots. Therefore, applying boron in the form of foliar fertilizers increases sugar content. Boron plays a role in the plant in forming cell walls and in the transport of sugars within the plant, and it has been found that sugar moves easily through membranes.
