A suspension fertilizer containing activating doses of nitrogen and phosphorus, combined with an elevated potassium ratio. This formulation is designed to limit the plant’s tendency toward vegetative growth at the expense of fruit or tuber development — an imbalance that can cause notable delays and reductions in yield. Additionally, it leverages the high potassium concentration during the fruiting and harvesting stages, as well as during tuber and bulb formation. It is recommended to incorporate it into the soil fertilization program through irrigation water. A balanced formulation that performs with high efficiency under various irrigation systems, particularly drip and sprinkler irrigation, owing to its high solubility.

Characteristics and advantages

Trikal: Ideal for fertilizing fruit crops during the fruiting stage to prevent fruit drop, increase fruit set percentage, boost size, improve coloration, and raise sugar content. It also increases fruit firmness and enhances tolerance to shipping and storage.

Trikal: Contributes significantly to increasing the size of root and tuberous crops (potato, sweet potato, sugar beet, and carrot) when applied from the onset of tuber formation through to harvest. It also increases tuber firmness and improves storage capacity — benefits that equally apply to onion and garlic bulbs.

Trikal: Reduces fruit cracking, prevents the formation of internal white tissue in tomato fruits, and reduces hollow heart in potato tubers. It also prevents lodging in grass crops when applied from the pre-heading stage through grain filling — resulting in increased overall yield.

Trikal: Prevents leaf margin scorch and reduces both physiological and biotic stress.

Dosage and how to use

Soil Application:
Added through irrigation systems at a rate of 2 to 5 kg/feddan (depending on plant age), applied 3 to 4 times per week.
