Chelated Iron …………… 14%
Chelated Iron (EDTA – Citric Acid)

Characteristics and advantages
A high-purity compound with an elevated concentration of iron, organically chelated with citric acid in addition to the EDTA form, which gives the fertilizer strong absorption capacity and increases its overall benefit. It serves as a rapid treatment for iron deficiency and prevents the appearance of deficiency symptoms, particularly in soil types that hinder its absorption, such as calcareous and saline soils. It also helps with enzymatic activity within the plant, protein synthesis, and chlorophyll formation — increasing photosynthetic efficiency and vegetative growth, especially during rapid growth periods when demand for iron rises. Additionally, its citric acid content increases the fertilizer’s benefit by lowering the pH level, facilitating absorption and mobility within the plant, and increasing the plant’s tolerance to environmental stress (heat, cold, salinity, alkalinity) and biotic stress (disease resistance). It plays a positive role in improving both vegetative and fruit growth

Dosage and how to use
Foliar spraying is preferred 3–4 times during the growing season to prevent the appearance of deficiency symptoms, particularly in calcareous, saline, and poor sandy soils.
Foliar spray concentration: 100–125 g / 100 L water, depending on plant age and type, or 250 g per feddan.
Soil application: 500–1000 g/feddan
